Golf enthusiasts are spoiled for choice among the four golf courses, including one of the oldest courses at Redcar and a 29 hole course at Hunley Hall.
Cleveland Golf Club
Our Championship links course, again the only links course in Yorkshire, is situated by the shores of the North Sea and measures 6696 yards from the white tees with a par of 72. The Ladies play from red tees all the year round and their course measures 5577 yards with a par of 73.
The course itself is flat and easy to walk. It is protected by strategically placed bunkers both on the fairways and around the greens. In addition, and in common with many Championship links courses, it is a true test of golf when the wind blows.
From the North or South Travel along the A19 until the A174 is reached, take the A174 to Redcar, upon entering Redcar follow the signs for the Esplanade. The Golf club is situated to the North side of town, adjacent to the sea.
Wilton Golf Club

The course itself is set in parkland with an abundance of trees and shrubs which makes for a pleasant walk. Golfers however should not be deceived. What appears to be a relatively short and low scoring eighteen holes has unseen problems for the over ambitious golfer.
Hunley Hall

Golfers, enjoy your royal and ancient game amid beautiful countryside with glorious views of the coast. 29 holes of golf have been designed to take advantage of the fabulous views and generous space available.
Tees and greens have been designed to USPGA specifications to produce outstanding courses varying from an impressive championship length, par 73, to a less testing par 68. Includes practice areas, floodlit driving range, buggies for hire and professional golf shop. From a general tune up to perfecting your short game, coaching is available from our resident P.G.A. qualified professional. Improve your game with friendly straight-forward coaching
Saltburn Golf Club
This tree lined parkland 18-hole course surrounded by woodland has fine views of the Cleveland Hills and the Heritage Coast and is particularly attractive in Autumn.
The course offers a good test of golf for golfers of all standards and a warm and friendly welcome to the visiting golfer, whether they be a casual fourball, an organised society or club outing, for whom special packages are available
Groups and visitors are welcome at all courses. Regular competitions are held at all four courses including the annual Redcar, Saltburn & Hartlepool Golf Week, which is to be held 5th – 9th July 2010. The Golf week allows ladies and gentlemen to take part in daily competitions, a 4 day circuit or a 4 ball better ball event.
