Horse Riding....

The Borough of Redcar & Cleveland offers some fantastic opportunities for Horse Riding & Horse Facilities.
What a way to see the delights of both the Coast & Countryside in the area. Take a ride up into the hills to see a birds eye view or go onto the beach where you can gallop along the beach and through the waves. Whether you’re a total beginner or an experienced rider there is plenty on offer for you.
From group and private lessons to Hacking in the area.
We are also host to many private facilities such as Cross Country courses, Show Jumping Centres, Gallops, and miles of Public Bridleways.
There are also two local bridleways groups in the area and a local pony club and riding club who offer numerous activities.
Local horse riding route maps are available from your local Tourist Information Centre or Forestry Centre.

We have 7 Miles of Beach that run from Redcar along through Marske and on to Saltburn. Many people bring their horses to the beach but please be sure to check Tides and Weather Conditions before setting off on your Journey.
